Target of this project is to build a realistic, full motional, six degrees of freedom (6dof) homebuilt diy double cockpit flight simulator.
Actually most constraints in a normal house are in opposit to this target, but "lets see".
I'm not sure, which plane, which cockpit to simulate: A typical twin IFR plane or a single aisle jet-aircraft, either one with a pilot in command and assisting stuff, or an automated plane controlled by a pilot. Inbetween there is the
option of a standardized, "basic" cockpit: yea, it fits for no plane, but you can fly all of them!
Beside the fact, that my heart beats for a fully realistic A320, ... or 37... 27 I flew as child with... A319CJ: short runways, long range... the twin standard cockpit has also many advantages, ... it shall be a sim to have fun with.
Meanwhile I got somewhat frustrated again, as the main problems on flight simulators are still the same. ;-) But lets see.
